Audit and Reporting
REPORTING
Turning good data into good information
The detailed asset level handling of equipment and advanced data capture is a key part of BTR’s proposition and the reason many of our customers entrust us with handling their redundant equipment.
Furthermore, the detailed level information that is produced during processing is important to all of our clients. Along with providing a clear audit trail for internal and external purposes our asset list and comprehensive reporting also enables advanced management of a client’s IT asset inventory.
BTR UK utilises a bespoke software platform to manage the reporting functionality of the processes that we undertake. We have invested heavily to develop software that provides our clients with a fully auditable electronic data trail for all of the equipment that we process on their behalf. This system can be interrogated to provide asset information on an item-by-item level.
Our clients typically receive two reports :
Stage One Report The Audit Report is completed during an initial audit process following receipt of equipment and gives immediate item by item visibility of key information including :
- Type of equipment
- Manufacturer
- Model type
- Part Number
- Unique Bar Code no.
- Serial Number
- Specifications
- Client Asset tag details.
Stage Two Report The Detailed Asset and Test Report is available once equipment has been processed and contains more detailed information regarding specific assets. This information will provide the same information provided in audit with the addition of :
- Information regarding the condition and grade of the equipment
- Test engineer comments
- Comprehensive Data Eradication information
- Details of whether the item is being remarketed or recycled.
Certificates are included with the second stage report, detailing where equipment has been recycled and data erased in line with current legislation.
Other Reports
Through undertaking work for some of the UK and Europe largest companies BTR has developed a great deal of expertise in managing large, often complex and tailored projects.
In such cases customers are assigned a project manager and reports tend to be tailored to meet specific customer need.
All of our customers should benefit from our project management Service Level reports.
